7th Annual Memorial Golf Outing Raises Over $33K for CLAP

On Monday, 13 July 2026, Precis hosted the 7th Annual Sam R. Colucci, Jr., Memorial Golf Outing, raising $33,658 to support Cancer Legacy in Action Projects (CLAP).

CLAP is a nonprofit founded by the family of former Precis Principal Sam Colucci, who lost his battle with glioblastoma in 2019. CLAP’s mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by brain cancer through donations to the Jefferson Brain Tumor Program and by creating meaningful legacy projects that offer comfort and remembrance to families navigating loss.

The annual golf outing at Old York Road Country Club brings together Precis colleagues, industry friends, and the Colucci family for a day of golf, followed by cocktails and dinner. Funds raised reflected over $21,000 from golfer registrations and sponsorships and over $12,000 from event auction and raffle items and QR code donations.

“On behalf of Precis and CLAP, we thank everyone who joined us on the course and for dinner, and we thank all of our sponsors who contributed to such a meaningful cause,” said Precis Principal – PA Operations Josh Capparella, PE, LEED AP, BD + C, who is both a CLAP board member and Sam’s cousin. “Sam was always there to lend a helping hand. We know that he would be proud of this event and how it supports families dealing with cancer and grief.”
