Precis Hosts 6th Annual Sam R. Colucci, Jr., Memorial Golf Outing

On Monday, 14 July 2025, Precis proudly hosted the 6th Annual Sam R. Colucci, Jr., Memorial Golf Outing, celebrating the enduring legacy of our colleague and former Precis Principal Sam Colucci.

The event brought together industry peers, the Colucci family, and the Precis community for a sunny day of golf, followed by cocktails, dinner, and heartfelt reflections.

While the forecast initially looked grim, the skies cleared just in time, giving us enough beautiful weather to play all 18 holes and enjoy the day together. We like to think Sam had a hand in that.

Proceeds from the outing support Cancer Legacy in Action Projects (CLAP), a nonprofit founded by Sam’s wife and family to honor his memory. CLAP’s mission aims to improve the lives of those impacted by brain cancer through donations to the Jefferson Brain Tumor Program and by creating meaningful legacy projects that offer comfort and remembrance to families navigating loss.

This year, we were honored to welcome speakers from Jefferson Health and the Center for Loss & Bereavement, including an oncology social worker and the center’s executive director. They shared heartfelt stories of loss, resilience, and hope – offering powerful reminders of the real human impact behind CLAP’s mission.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors, and silent auction participants, Precis raised more than $21,500 this year, furthering CLAP’s work and continuing Sam’s legacy in a truly meaningful way. We are deeply grateful to all who helped make this special day a success.
