Precis Hosts 3rd Annual Sam R. Colucci, Jr., Memorial Golf Outing

On Monday, 18 July 2022, Precis hosted the 3^rd Annual Sam R. Colucci, Jr., Memorial Golf Outing, honoring the legacy of our late partner, colleague, and dear friend, Sam Colucci.

Despite a rainy forecast, we ended up with a beautiful day at Old York Country Club, made even more so by a vibrant rainbow that let us know Sam was there with us again this year.

Those who attended the outing golfed for a cause, supporting Cancer Legacy in Action Projects (CLAP) in its mission to assist and encourage individuals (primarily children) who have lost an immediate family member to cancer to carry out projects or actions that extend their loved one’s legacy. The organization was founded by Sam’s wife Patti in 2019 to honor the legacy of Sam and others who have been affected by cancer. Thanks to the generosity of our guests and supporters, more than $10,000 was raised to support the work of CLAP.

A day of golf was followed by a cocktail and dinner reception where we heard from special guests, Ken Justice, Darren Daulton Foundation board member, and Cathy Barnshaw, CLAP’s first beneficiary and president of the Nicky’s Heart of Gold Foundation. Both shared their moving stories and missions. As always, Precis extends a special thanks to the Colucci family for its significant involvement in planning this special event.
