We are proud to introduce Women@Precis, a professional internal women's group, founded in February 2022. The purpose of the group is to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workplace that values, listens to, and implements the ideas of women. We strive to do this by providing mentorship, creating a safe space to share our experiences, and promoting professional leadership development. The group meets every few weeks to discuss different aspects and challenges of being a woman in the work force, and in the AEC industry in particular. At the most recent Women@Precis meeting, the group discussed traits of good leaders and how to cultivate those traits within. The discussion was prefaced with a presentation on leadership given by Precis Senior Project Manager Amanda Phillips, PE, LEED AP and Precis Director of Process Engineering Kristina Pumphrey, PE. Women@Precis is an inclusive group open to all Precis employees.
