Sunil Mehta

Sunil Mehta oversees automation deliverables and strategizes to deliver tailored automation solutions to Precis clients. He has 20+ years of experience leading projects in the life sciences, food and beverage, and automotive industries, including as a subject matter expert for digital transformation initiatives across multiple sites. Based in Cary, Sunil has been instrumental in growing the regional automation group, supporting business development, and educating clients on how automation can solve industry challenges.

Sunil has worked for major life sciences companies and traveled extensively across the U.S. This afforded him extensive experience across all aspects of automation, including control system architecture design, application development and programming, simulation and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, and software development life cycle (SDLC) documentation. More importantly, it has given him the perspective of working with customers from vastly different backgrounds and approaches.

Married with a teenage son, Sunil enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and traveling. He volunteers with his son’s high-school robotics club, supporting students as they design, fabricate, and program robots for mechanical challenges. Sunil is also a licensed drone pilot.
