Jeff Balch

Jeff Balch provides architectural project leadership at the start of an assignment, setting the project tone and design direction, and then shepherding both the client and team through successful project completion. Jeff is a founding partner of Arcus Design Group who joined Precis as a principal with the 2022 merger. His 30+ years of experience have focused on programming, architectural interiors, and planning work, offering exposure to complex projects for corporate, healthcare, science, and technology clients.

Jeff puts people at ease with his open communication style and emphasis on collaboration. He has strong ties to colleagues in other industries and enjoys networking to share ideas, learn about the latest trends, and identify opportunities. Jeff’s omnipresent concern for constructability and building science – honed during early years working in construction – means his projects are both well-designed and well-built.

Jeff is married with two adult children. He enjoys travel to both familiar and new places where he can hike or explore the outdoors, especially with family in the Pacific Northwest. He and his wife actively support local youth groups through fundraising and volunteer activities.
