- “The range of projects we do here means it’s always a different challenge. It might be a pharmaceutical project one day and then a restaurant the next. It keeps things interesting.”
Greg Farzetta manages daily operations of the plumbing engineering department and team, overseeing staff, writing proposals, maintaining standards, and providing technical project guidance. In 25+ years of experience, Greg has designed plumbing and process utility systems for pharmaceutical facilities, central utility plants, office buildings, data centers, and hospitals. He joined Precis in 2010 as its first plumbing engineer, went on to lead the department, and was named a director in 2017.
Even as a child, Greg enjoyed tinkering, fixing, and building things, so engineering was a natural career path. He credits Precis founder Larry Gadbois – one of the first people to interview him for a job – with suggesting plumbing engineering would be a good fit. Greg inspires this same curiousity in the team he leads. He offers the encouragement and freedom to learn while doing with the confidence that he’s there to offer support and direction.
Greg and his wife enjoy travel, particularly when there’s an opportunity to get outdoors. He still likes to tinker and spends much of his free time undertaking house renovation projects when he can work with his hands and learn new skills from electrical to carpentry.
