Bob Metz

Bob Metz leverages 30+ years of project management and strategic tactical planning experience in his role as project executive. A longtime employee and consultant to Merck & Co., Bob served in multiple capacities for the company, overseeing real estate and project development, before shifting to his present role providing on-site project leadership. He serves as owner’s representative, leading projects from initial business case through construction and ensuring alignment between results and client goals. Bob’s areas of expertise include overseeing space allocation and optimization, budgeting, and major capital project management.

A former military officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Bob brings a pragmatism and sense of order to his approach. In addition to supporting Merck, he also leverages his extensive pharmaceutical and military construction background to advise and fortify project management operations within Precis.

Married for 40+ years, Bob has three sons and four grandchildren. He’s regularly called upon to put his handyman skills to use at one of their homes. Bob is also an avid runner who enjoys planning and taking an annual trip to hike somewhere in the world.
