Working Toward A Better Tomorrow

Precis recognizes the significance and impact of the recent protests. We don’t want to let this moment pass in silence but want to affirm our commitment to understanding the challenges of our peers and fostering change in our industry and country. We believe diversity is our strength. As we continue to share and learn, we hope this dialogue builds greater empathy. From empathy and understanding come strength to overcome racism.

Celebrating 15 Years in Business

April Fools’ Day holds a special place in our hearts. Today we celebrate 15 years in business, honoring the vision of Precis founders Larry Gadbois and Bob Dick who believed in principal-led project leadership, technical expertise, excellent service, and a trusted and respected team of employees. While we anticipated celebrating our exciting milestone together as a company, now 100 employees and 3 offices strong, we’re proud to be celebrating from our home offices where our staff continues to inspire us and support our clients in the pharma, biotech, healthcare, education, utility, and other critical markets. Cheers to resilience and thanks to our valued clients, colleagues, employees, and friends for your continued support.  Our prayers go out to all of those whose lives have been impacted by the pandemic. We will get to the other side of this challenging time together.

Doing Our Part

In doing our part to flatten the curve, Precis has taken our operations remote. Across three offices and 100 employees, we are connected and dedicated to maintaining maximum productivity, accessibility, and support for our clients and partners. As we, among many, adjust to life working from home, we learn that no matter how well-equipped you are for the transition (shoutout to our awesome IT Manager, Alex!), we inevitably run into challenges. Here are some tips from our staff on their WFH experience and how they’ve settled into a new normal, from maximizing productivity and maintaining a routine to working from home with kids and pets, and just plain staying sane! We’re all in this together.

COVID-19 Response

Clients, colleagues, and partners, There is no higher priority to Precis than the safety of our customers, business partners, and our employees. With the ongoing threat of COVID-19 Coronavirus to the health of our communities and to our businesses, we are committed to minimizing the spread of this virus, but we also want to reaffirm our unwavering support for you, your company, and your employees. The Precis senior leadership team is assessing the impact from COVID-19 on an ongoing basis and carefully calibrating our operations accordingly. We have implemented policies and procedures with progressive safeguards for the health and well-being of our employees and for those that they have contact with, according to prescribed best practices from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). By providing guidelines and hygienic resources, along with limits on non-essential travel, we are working to restrict exposure and risk, while diligently working to support our clients, particularly those deemed essential in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, and industrial markets. All three of our offices currently remain open, with many staff working remotely, to provide critical engineering services. We currently do not anticipate any disruption of service. Regardless of where Precis employees are working, our number one goal is to provide outstanding service. We have confidence in our team and our collective ability to weather this storm. If you have any questions, please call or email. Thank you for your business. We hope you and your family remain healthy and safe. Precis Engineering
