Precis Promotes David Bock, PE, LEED AP to Director – Project Management in Cary, NC

With over 15 years of expertise, Bock has led mechanical engineering projects, maintained client interactions, and excelled in the design of energy-efficient and dependable mechanical systems for life science, higher education, mission-critical, and commercial facilities. Over the past six years, he has managed an array of projects and contributed to growing the Precis Cary team and its presence in North Carolina. His comprehensive project approach and collaborative, cross-functional skills have produced efficient and effective solutions for clients. Bock holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Triangle Chapter. He resides with his family in Cary, NC.
Precis Hires Danielle Vassalotti-Rebori as Senior Process Architect

We are pleased to announce the addition of Danielle Vassalotti-Rebori as Senior Process Architect to our team. Her hire brings an in-depth knowledge of process architecture and compliance in life science facility design, and a well-recognized and engaged member of the local design community to the firm. “We are excited to have Danielle join the architecture group at Precis, adding her expertise in process architecture, building code compliance, and hazard assessment. She will be working together with our existing specialists to strengthen our talents in life sciences building design,” said Paul Salvaggio, AIA, Precis Principal and Architecture Department Head. Vassalotti-Rebori is an accomplished senior process architect with more than 18 years of experience in the design of laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and master plans for a wide variety of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and industrial clients. She is well-versed in code compliance for hazardous materials and cGMP facilities. In her new role, Vassalotti-Rebori collaborates closely with the firm’s engineering disciplines and clients to deliver responsive, innovative process architecture solutions from initial planning through project completion. Vassalotti-Rebori holds M.Arch and B.S. in Architecture degrees from Northeastern University. She is an active member and past president of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Delaware Valley Chapter. She resides with her family in Newtown Square, PA.
Precis Hires Sunil Mehta, CAP, PMP as Director – Automation in Cary, NC

We are pleased to announce the addition of Sunil Mehta, CAP, PMP to our team as Director – Automation. Mehta’s hire brings high level technical expertise to the firm’s Cary office and expands their automation capabilities in North Carolina and throughout the southeastern region. “Sunil’s appointment is a strategic step forward for Precis. His expertise and leadership will anchor the automation group here in North Carolina. We see tremendous growth potential for automation services across multiple market segments and are very optimistic about the future outlook,” said John McCullough, PE, Precis Principal – North Carolina Operations. Mehta is a Certified Automation Professional (CAP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 20 years of experience leading automation projects in the life science, food and beverage, and automobile industries. His expertise includes Emerson DeltaV system integration, batch solutions design, control system architecture, application development, simulation, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) documentation, commissioning, and plant personnel training. He has leveraged his experience to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for digital transformation initiatives at multiple client sites. In his new role, Mehta oversees automation deliverables for Precis’ Cary, NC office and develops strategies to deliver tailored automation solutions, adding value for both existing and new customers. Mehta holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is an active member of the International Society of Automation (ISA) Raleigh-Durham Chapter. He resides with his wife and a 15-year-old son in Cary, North Carolina.

Ronalter has over 26 years of experience working around the world on life sciences construction and sustainability projects. Her areas of expertise include bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratories, as well as medical device production and animal health facilities. As Director of Process Architecture and Sustainability at Precis, Ronalter supports the firm’s process architecture group with the design and execution of projects and provides leadership to Precis’ sustainability approach. She assists with projects seeking sustainability certifications and leads project teams to embrace environmental responsibility, energy efficiency, sustainable alternatives, and emerging technologies to help our clients meet their goals in carbon reduction and overall sustainability. Ronalter holds a Master of Science degree in Architecture from Helsinki University of Technology in Finland, EU and currently resides with her daughter, dog, and ten chickens in Lower Gwynedd, PA.
