Precis Hires Steve Buxton as Project Executive

We are please to announce the addition of Steve Buxton to our team as Project Executive based in the Ambler office. A mechanical engineer with over 30 years of pharmaceutical engineering and capital projects experience, Buxton will support the Precis Project Management Group. “Steve brings extensive engineering leadership in the pharmaceutical industry on both the owner manufacturing supply and consulting sides,” said Josh Capparella, PE, LEED AP BD+C, Precis Principal – Pennsylvania Operations. “His comprehensive perspective will be leveraged support our project management team and our clients’ complex engineering challenges.” “I am excited to support the project management team and return to the technical aspects of the business,” said Buxton. “I look forward to using my diverse project background to develop unique solutions for Precis clients.” Buxton has more than 30 years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including over 20 years spent with Pfizer Global Engineering, and roles on the consulting side of engineering practice. He has leveraged his dual owner-consultant perspectives to provide project management, design review, and mechanical systems design for pharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing, cGLP laboratories, primary and secondary packaging, cGMP warehousing, and microelectronics facilities. Buxton has worked on projects during all phases, from concept development, design, and programming through construction, commissioning, qualification, and startup. Buxton’s career has included roles as corporate global engineering service leader, interim site capital lead, subject matter leader in HVAC and environmental conditions, global reliability program regional lead, and participation on a global quality excellence team. These experiences have afforded him extensive knowledge of strategic and infrastructure capital planning and execution best practices. Buxton holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Precis Hires Danielle Vassalotti-Rebori as Senior Process Architect

We are pleased to announce the addition of Danielle Vassalotti-Rebori as Senior Process Architect to our team. Her hire brings an in-depth knowledge of process architecture and compliance in life science facility design, and a well-recognized and engaged member of the local design community to the firm. “We are excited to have Danielle join the architecture group at Precis, adding her expertise in process architecture, building code compliance, and hazard assessment. She will be working together with our existing specialists to strengthen our talents in life sciences building design,” said Paul Salvaggio, AIA, Precis Principal and Architecture Department Head. Vassalotti-Rebori is an accomplished senior process architect with more than 18 years of experience in the design of laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and master plans for a wide variety of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and industrial clients. She is well-versed in code compliance for hazardous materials and cGMP facilities. In her new role, Vassalotti-Rebori collaborates closely with the firm’s engineering disciplines and clients to deliver responsive, innovative process architecture solutions from initial planning through project completion. Vassalotti-Rebori holds M.Arch and B.S. in Architecture degrees from Northeastern University. She is an active member and past president of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Delaware Valley Chapter. She resides with her family in Newtown Square, PA.
