Validated Vivarium Facility Upgrades

Precis Engineering led an in-house team of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automation engineers and coordinated an architectural consultant for upgrades to validated rodent and rabbit rooms within an existing vivarium. The vivarium is critical to long-term research and development within the pharmaceutical company’s facility. Key components of the project included:
- Conversion of existing procedure space to rabbit holding rooms
- Complete post cooling system to rabbit rooms
- Terminal humidification and terminal reheat
- Complete distribution, lighting, and controls to comply with cGLP and AAALAC requirements
