Precis Engineering provided architectural and engineering design to retrofit an aseptic vaccine manufacturing facility with new Grade B and C people and material airlocks. Additional doors and segregation airlocks were also provided between liquid and lyophilized production areas to meet regulatory requirements. Key components of the project included:
- Modification of eight existing air-handling units and controls
- Addition of new fan-powered HEPA filtration units and controls
- Pressurization monitoring and control to maintain differentials between spaces
- On-site testing, balancing, and commissioning support
- Phased plan for implementation within a fast-track, four-week construction window
