Precis Engineering led an in-house team of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers and coordinated architecture and structural engineering consultants for upgrades to a mobile switching center. The project involved a control room renovation and additional workstations with ergonomic functionality. Key components of the project included:

• Main electrical service upgrade with a new main utility transformer
• A new lug box for a 1 megawatt mobile emergency generator
• New sprinkler systems and a generator room micromist system
• Early warning and very early warning fire detection systems
• N+1 HVAC upgrades to telecommunications rooms
• Seismic upgrades for overhead cable trays
• Phased implementation for zero downtime
