Campus Steam and Condensate Mains

Precis Engineering provided engineering design for installation of 2,000 linear feet of high pressure steam and condensate mains to integrate with existing mains serving opposite sides of the campus. Key components of the project included:

• 16 inch diameter high pressure steam main
• 8 inch diameter pumped condensate main
• New elevated trusses for road crossings and pedestrian areas
• 80 foot span truss and towers to cross over an existing building
• Pipe stress analysis utilizing CAEPIPE analysis software
